Pipeline Design

We offer a comprehensive range of pipeline design services supported by our experienced design team. Within this skill set we can offer a suite of complementary services including; mechanical design, thermal and buckling analysis, on-bottom stability assessment and trenching review.

 

Riser & Tie-in Design

Riser system selection and design are integral elements of our services. From initial location screening and routeing through to mechanical design and fatigue assessment, we support all aspects of riser and tie-in design.

 

Control System Layout

From initial system selection to full specification we can assist our clients in all aspects of controls layout. We have extensive experience of working with first, second and third generation control systems and can advise our clients on the latest trends in instrumentation, communication and control.

 

Manifold Design

All manifold design is undertaken using the latest 3D parametric modelling software enabling us to optimise manifold arrangements and avoid costly clash resolutions at the fabrication stage.

 

Structural Design

Structural design is undertaken using 3D modelling supported by the latest structural analysis software enabling us to realise practicable and installable designs for a wide range of site conditions.

 

Pipeline Interconnect Design

We have extensive experience of designing interconnect systems and manifolds for trunk and interfield flowlines, from connector selection and tee design to full manifold design.

 

Analysis

We offer a wide range of analyses - ranging from finite element and CFD to vessel motion responses. More generally, we are skilled in designing mechanical systems, performing root cause analysis of engineering failures, developing specialist safety cases and in assessing constructability and maintainability.
